The Story
Left wing.
Left wing.
Centre mid.
Zain plays for Kitchener Toronto FC — out on the left when the team needs to stretch the field, through the middle when it needs someone to control the ball.
He's not locked into one role. Some games it's pace down the wing, beating a fullback and getting a cross in. Other games it's centre mid — dropping deep, picking the ball up, and deciding where it goes next. Not every player at his age can do both, and switch between them without missing a step.
Off the pitch he's the same way: low-key about it, lets the games do the talking.
Zain Al Haj Ali — #19
